Introducing Real Psychology

Real Psychology is a London and Kent based independent educational and child psychology service focussed on meeting the psychological and related needs of schools, staff, pupils and parents. We also work with charities and local authorities.

We specialise in applying psychology at the individual, group and system levels to effect meaningful and sustainable change.

Our philosophy of ‘psychology without frontiers’ enables us to work in a range of arenas including cognition and learning, social skills and behaviour and emotional health and wellbeing in schools, colleges and early-years settings. We also use the best of psychology at system levels, supporting organisational growth with provision audit, policy development and evaluation and research.

We aim to bring the best of the public service ethos to the independent sector, with programmes and interventions that are designed, in partnership with you, to meet your particular needs.

At Real Psychology, our team of educational psychologists are experienced, professional and are passionate about:

Fulfilling potential: identifying solutions for individual needs, overcoming barriers and enabling achievement.

Delivering change: applying educational psychology expertise to promote positive and lasting change in thinking, behaviour and outcomes.

Providing expertise: combining the latest research and thinking with many years’ experience of applied work with children, families and schools.

Achieving results: supporting learning, identifying effective interventions in SEN support and promoting psychologically robust teaching.

Offering choice: our approaches are consultation-based to ensure that the views of children, parents and teachers can be heard.

Delivering value: our educational psychology services are financially competitive, deliver positive outcomes and equate to a valuable investment.
