In addition, the Real Psychology team of Associates are all Chartered Educational Psychologists. The CVs for our Associates are available upon request. They will
always abide by the relevant British Psychological Society Codes and are compliant
in all aspects of Expert Witness work with the Practice Direction for Experts in Family Proceedings relating to children.
All Associates have completed, or are currently undertaking the Cardiff University Bond Solon (CUBS) training in skills for the Expert Witness. In addition, all Associates update skills and knowledge regularly through appropriate training.
Real Psychology provides all Associates with a full and comprehensive supervision service, in accordance with BPS guidance and procedure for Psychologists as Expert Witnesses. All Associates hold appropriate professional liability insurance.

Siobhan has worked as an Educational Psychologist for 10 years. She currently works as a Chartered Educational Psychologist within a Local Authority (part-time) and also as a Director of Real Psychology (part of Group [UK] Ltd). Siobhan has undertaken psychological assessments for children and young parents as part of Care Proceedings on behalf of Local Authorities and as a Single Joint Expert.

Mark has been an Educational Psychologist for 14 years. He is up to date with current developments in the profession. He is a part-time employee of the University of East London being an Academic and Professional Tutor involved in the initial training of Educational Psychologists. He is also completing his Professional Doctorate in Applied Educational and Child Psychology. He continues to practise as a Senior Educational Psychologist. Mark has extensive experience of report writing and assessing children from 0 – 19 years of age in a range of settings.

Nicola is a Chartered Educational Psychologist with an additional qualification in Clinical Paediatric Neuropsychology. She has worked as a Senior Educational Psychologist in a Local Authority with a specialism in Autistic Spectrum Disorders. This involved a broad range of work from supporting individual children to chairing the government supported regional SEN partnership Autism Research Group. Nicola is experienced in assessing the complex needs of children and is trained in Expert Witness (Family Law) work with Bond Solon/Cardiff University.

John has worked with children for over 30 years, originally as residential social worker where he prepared reports for court, then as a teacher and since 1972 as a psychologist. For a number of years he was a member of a Child Guidance Unit Team. John has been Principal Educational Psychologist, Head of Special Educational Needs and then Head of Pupil & Parents Services for an Inner City Authority. As part of this work he chaired the Local Education Authority’s Special Needs Panel and also managed a large team of Educational Psychologists. He has experience of providing assessments for court and giving evidence in court.
